THINK OR SINK: We Think or the West Sinks

If we can't think, there is no freedom. We're locked up

We need to know HOW to think.
Instead, students are taught,
in the West, how to block thinking,
with statements like
"all opinions are equal" -
without asking if this is true.
But without thinking,
there is no freedom.

REALITY BASED ETHICS.
THE AGE OF SECRECY.

Time for good thinking.
I can't remember when thinking wasn't fun.
Of course it didn't always make things
easy,
not even when I was a kid.
I remember being 7, reading the child's version
of the Bible friends of my parents had given me.
Lots of fun. And then I read that god
preferred the brother who had killed
animals for him,
over the brother who had just
burned plants.
I knew that could not be.
But no matter how often I read the words,
that's what they said.
But I didn't change my mind.
I knew it didn't make sense,
god preferring someone who killed animals.
That's just one of the many times
thinking has gotten me away
from the mainstream path.
And now some would say
I'm politically incorrect.
I just say I like to think,
to pay attention to facts
and
to use logic.
And what am I for?
Human rights, like male female equality,
racial equality, gay rights,
Human freedoms,
like freedom of thought and speech.
Flourishing on a personal level
and a
political level,
through thinking and creativity.
