The problem: most people are unaware
that they don't know HOW to think.
Instead, they insist they know
WHAT they think.
Who is behind the taboo on thinking?
Who benefits? And what can we do?

Here's just one huge logical inconsistency.
Millions insist all opinions are equal
and it is wrong to be judgmental.
Then they call Israel an apartheid state
and advocate BDS - being judgmental twice over,
in addition to flying in the face of facts.

Another example: instead of exploring religions,
they conclude that all religions are equal.

All ideologies
(Nazi, Communist, Labor, Republican)
are not equal.
How could all religious ideologies -
equally different from each other -
be equal!!

Not thinking - being blocked from thinking -
is dangerous because it is out of line with reality.
And if we don't recognize reality,
how are we to deal with it?
We deny. We ignore warning signs.

Good thinking isn't like nail polish -
an add on, which can (in the opinion of some)
make nails look prettier.
It's vital. It's like the nails under the nail polish.
Important and useful.

So it isn't that the politically correct are wrong.
That's the least of it.
They are dangerous.

Political incorrectness is just daring
to to face facts and use logical reasoning -
in other words the capacity for critical thinking,
which by definition is politically incorrect thinking,
is essential for our well being.

The speech was the keynote speech at the
2014 Essentials of Freedom Conference.
